The Codiac Cyclones Speed Skating Club (Dieppe NB), in partnership with The Nagano Skate Institute (Quebec, QC), are pleased to host the Third annual Codiac “High Performance” Short Track Speed Skating Summer Camp in Dieppe, NB – July 20-24, 2020.

This highly anticipated performance focused summer camp will include 5 days of exciting, productive, demanding yet fun on-ice training drylands and classroom activities.

Confirmed coaches for the camp features some of the best Olympic level speed skating talent in the world. (the official list will be confirmed at the beginning of February 2020)

CODIAC High Performance (HP) Short Track Speed Skating Summer Camp 2020 Includes:

  • Five (5) full days of ice, dryland and classroom time,
  • Learn from internationally renowned speed skating talent,
  • Ten (10) on-ice sessions per performance group,
  • Daily dry land training at various city locations,
  • Celebrity Photo shoot opportunities,
  • Some of the best Olympic size ice quality in the Maritimes at the AJL Arena in Dieppe,

  • Eric Bedard : double olympic gold medalist 1998-2002
  • Olivier Jean: olympic gold medalist 2010  
  • Travis Jayner : olympic bronze medalist  2010

Suggested age for the Codiac High Performance (HP) Speed Skating Summer Camp is 11 years old and up.

We suggest a time of 60 seconds or less for the 400m. If your child is less than 11 years old but meets these time requirements and you believe he can do 2 training on ice per day, you can register him in High Performance Camp.

2020 Short Track Summer Camp High Performance (HP) Fees

ONLY $500.00 (434,78$ + tax) in one payment $580.00 (504,35$ + tax) in one payment.
Option for 2 payment : $250 deposit + $250 before May 15th, 2020 (total 434,78$ + tax$)

All participants must be registered 2019-2020 Speed Skate Canada members.

NOTE: Only CodiacCyclones.ca website registrations will be accepted. Credit Card Payment only (NO CASH / NO CHEQUES)

Ice: AJL Arena, Dieppe, NB (432 Melanson Rd, Dieppe, NB E1A 1A6)
Dry-land: City of Dieppe & City of Moncton locations (TBA)

CHECK-IN – Arthur J. LeBlanc Arena (Dieppe, NB)

We encourage skaters to check-in on Sunday to avoid possible Monday activity conflicts.

On Ice Attire: Complete speed skating safety gear and water for on-ice activities. Skaters are expected to present themselves on the ice with excellent condition safety equipment including properly sharpened blades. Skaters with missing or broken safety equipment will not be permitted on the ice.

Gym & Dry-land Attire: (t-shirts, shorts, sneakers, sun hat, 30 SPF or higher sunscreen, water bottles) are required for dry-land activities.
