The Codiac Cyclones Speed Skating Club (Dieppe NB), in partnership with The Nagano Skate Institute (Quebec, QC), are pleased to host the second annual Codiac “High Performance” Short Track Speed Skating Summer Camp in Dieppe, NB – July 22-26, 2019.

This highly anticipated performance focused summer camp will include 5 days of exciting, productive, demanding yet fun on-ice training drylands and classroom activities.

Accepted Ages: 11 and up

Required Minimum Times: 54.00 s. (400m)

The Codiac “High Performance” Summer Camp will focus on:

  • ice time sessions (2 per day)
  • dry-land sessions and
  • classroom activity sessions

All participants must be registered 2018-2019 Speed Skate Canada members and with minimum qualifying race times at 54 secs (400m).


Learn to Speed Skate (LTSS) Short Track Summer Camp 2019 Includes:

  • Four (4) convenient half day sessions (10:30 am – 1:15 pm) *Schedule to be confirmed
    • Includes One (1) dry-land session per day, (4 total)
    • Includes One (1) on-ice session per day, (4 total)
  • Learn with internationally renowned speed skating talent,
  • Celebrity Photo shoot opportunities,

(PRE JUNE 15 Registrations also receive)

  • One (1) Summer Camp T-Shirt,
  • Welcome Gift Bag,

LTSS Summer Camp Dates:
July 22 – 25, 2019

2019 Short Track Summer Camp Fees:

  • High Performance (HP)  Speed Skating Program:
    • $580 Full Payment (Offer end June 15)

  • Learn to Speed Skate (LTSS) Program:
    $249 (4 x Half Days / Ice & Dry-land Only)
  • Coach Mentoring Program:
    $195 (Full Week)

Short Track Speed Skating “Support Coach” Mentoring Program:

This unique mentoring opportunity will benefit all participating coaches and their respective clubs for years to come.

The Nagano Skate Institute will coordinate pairing & schedule of Mentored/Apprentice Coaches.

Participants to the “Support Coach” program should all be registered before May 30, 2019.

On Ice Attire: Complete speed skating safety gear and water for on-ice activities. Skaters are expected to present themselves on the ice with excellent condition safety equipment including properly sharpened blades. Skaters with missing or broken safety equipment will not be permitted on the ice.

Gym & Dry-land Attire: (t-shirts, shorts, sneakers, sun hat, 30 SPF or higher sunscreen, water bottles) are required for dry-land activities.
